Spend a full day exploring the countryside north of Nong Khiaw on a private tour for your group. After hotel pickup around 8:30, a one-hour boat ride up the Nam Ou River brings you to Muang Ngoi, passing villages and green hills along both banks. In Muang Ngoi you have about two hours with your guide to visit the History Cave and climb to Phanoi Viewpoint for a wide view over the village and river, and to learn about the village, its history and the weaving of silk and cotton.
